Serves: One mason jar full!

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 5 tbsp Laird Superfood Cacao Creamer
  • 2 tbsp cacao (optional, will add an even deeper chocolate flavour)
  • Pinch of sea salt

  1. Add almonds and hazelnuts to a high-power food processor or Vitamix. Turn on high and blend for a few minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.

  3. For extra chocolately nut butter, add additional cacao or more Laird Superfood Cacao Creamer!
  4. Store in a jar for as long as it lasts in your household!

Coffee creamer is used in countries all around the world as a convenient substitute for milk. It has a longer shelf life than milk, comes in liquid and powered forms and can be added to tea, coffee and chocolate drinks.

What are the ingredients in Creamer?

Typically, a creamer combines refined sugar syrups, additives, flavours, vegetable oils and sodium caseinate (a milk protein derived from casein). Coffee creamer can also contain trans fats to increase the stabilisation of the product. Trans fats are known to contribute to health issues such as high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes and increased risk of heart disease.

Superfood Creamer

In stark contrast, Laird Superfood Creamers are crafted from the highest quality all-natural whole food ingredients. Their entire range is sustainably sourced and thoroughly tested to ensure only the cleanest, finest products are created.

It’s the value-added, non-dairy creamer that, according to SPINS data, is the fastest growing brand in natural and speciality channels in the US!

Co-founder, Laird Hamilton is an American big-wave surfer, co-inventor of tow-in surfing, and world renowned “waterman”. He has appeared in a variety of movies and was recently interviewed by Joe Rogan for the Joe Rogan Experience, one of the world’s most popular podcasts.

Laird created Laird Superfood Creamer out of his personal desire to enhance his daily coffee and keep himself energised for longer when out in the water.

“At Laird Superfood, we think of our clean-ingredient products as fuel. With the right fuel, you can accomplish anything” says Laird.

The Rise of Healthier Creamers

Technavio’s analysts have predicted that the entire coffee creamer market will register a CAGR of over 5% by 2023.

The convenience of creamers is the key factor driving their use in general, but “the rising demand for vegan coffee creamers is one of the key factors that will trigger the growth of the global coffee creamer market.”

The general preference for more natural and organic products is also predicted to support this growth.

How To Use Superfood Creamer – Recipes

Using creamer is easy! It’s as simple as adding it to your favourite hot beverage.

For Laird Superfood Creamer, simply add a heaped teaspoon to the beverage and shake, blend or froth into a deliciously smooth coffee supercharged with MCTs and superfoods.
